The organization of the wedding was immediately a race against time which then had a setback due to the lockdown. For the choice of the dress I had few ideas and thanks to the site I was able to give shape to my thoughts. The possibility of having identified 3 dresses from which to start allowed me to naturally define what I could like and what would not be good for me. I didn't have to force myself to choose one line over another but certainly having Patrizia explain the clothes and the effect they would have on my body was fundamental. Once the dress was chosen, I was followed step by step with the various tests: shortening the dress with shoes and fixing the straps. I found Patrizia and her staff very professional but not detached, every time you enter the Atelier you really start imagining that day and the emotions you will feel. Another thing that was important to me was having a place close to home, away from traffic and which allowed me to "enjoy the moment" and organize myself without problems for the various appointments. Picking up the dress the day before, which is always a busy day, was also perfect.
Honestly, I arrived at the Atelier "unprepared" in the sense that I hadn't fantasized about what would happen to me. The whirlwind of the various tests, which could create difficulties in choosing, is actually a guided path where in each dress you understand more and more what reflects your person and therefore what you would like that day. In every choice there is no "judgment" on Patrizia's part, but only advice on what the bride could stand out.
Before each rehearsal I was curious, I wanted to memorize everything. Once I chose the dress, having no photos of myself, I always fantasized about the photos I found online and therefore the fitting moment has always been an experience in which to make that day concrete. Going to the atelier is also a reason to discuss how to set up the day or certain moments, also considering Patrizia's experience with other brides. I always felt like I was in a "bubble" where the world was outside and I was drawing That Day.
